How To Fail Or Not

If you are in school or taking classes, it is very easy to fail.Just don’t attend classes and don’t study anything. You are guaranteed to fail. But if you want to succeed, you have to attend classes religiously, actually listen to the lecturer, take notes, ask questions, read up, work on assignments, submit by the deadline, prepare for tests and exams! It takes a whole lot of work to succeed. You have to sweat. You have to work. It doesn’t come easy.

Be Anxious For Nothing…

Acts 17:26-27 talks about how God created the nations from one man and decides when nations should rise and fall. He is the Ultimate King Maker and Ruler of Nations. Why Pain?

Surely, nobody enjoys suffering or wants to suffer. However, if we are to objectively consider the history of Christianity, we would discover that the records show tremendous and lasting pain experienced by professing Christians through the ages. Why then would we expect our Christianity to be pain and trouble free?

Nabal Revisited

So, you don’t have a Nabal in your life? But do you have a Judas or Demas, or a Saul or Absalom? Don’t mind the name. The evils that they perpetrate come from the same source. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Our warfare is against principalities and powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. That is why the Bible says we should put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Remember!

When we let go of our memory of the word, when we engage in other things that divert our attention from the word, when we do this consistently for a while, we tend to drift away from the truths that we knew or used to know and find ourselves forgetting, neglecting and turning away from the things that made us.

Jesus, You love me too much!

Even when we see some discouragement, we will not relent, reminding ourselves that we are not in this alone. His hands carry us, His ears are open to our call. He will answer us, teaching our hands to war and our fingers to fight. The truth is that even before we began, we have overcome! He won the victory for us already. We just have to enforce the victory in His name.
