Marching Triumphantly On!

Welcome to the third month of the year, the month of March!

This month, we march triumphantly. We march with strength and joy in the Lord! It is the time of arising, pursuing, overtaking and recovering all. This is the time to move strategically in the power of the Lord, not depending on the things we see or feel naturally. Rather, taking on the strength of the Lord, we move.

In this season, the joy of the Lord is our strength. The joy we have is not based on our circumstances or the environment. This is us being deliberately joyful, in spite of what we see. We need joy to move forward but if we are to consider what we are going through, it is anything but joyful. Therefore we will be limited in our accomplishments if we restrict ourselves to our own strength or our environment.

As we release the joy of the Lord, the Lord takes over, bringing us speed, alacrity and restoration beyond our expectations. In what strength do we pursue, overtake and recover all? It is in the strength of the Lord. When we are able to rise above our environment and release joy, we come to the realms of supernatural power where God takes over the process.

As I write this, I am preaching to myself as well. Many times, I tend to be sad due to what I see around me. The events that are demotivating, things that are not going the way I want. When I dwell on these things, I am discouraged and unable to make progress. It is like being weigjhed down, to such an extent that I can’t even think of anything positive to do. There is no point in being depressed over things that you have no control over. The thing to do is to give those issues to the One who has power over all things. The One and Only Omnipotent God.

When we pray and divert our eyes to Him (Psalm 121:1-2), He takes over! David said in 1 Chronicles 29 verse s 10 to 13,  that God reigns over all. Everything is subject to Him. He reigns supreme.

Having gone through the year 2020 with trepidation and fear, we must arise this year, knowing better what the Lord requires of us. We are not to sit back, licking our wounds, but to arise and go. While we are on the way, the Lord will show up for us in ways we have not anticipated.

So, in this month of March, do not be held back. March in March! If you have to grit your teeth and do it, do so. If you have to do it against your best thoughts, just do it. March forward. Go ahead! Rise up, pursue, overtake and recover all! This is your time.
