So, you don’t have a Nabal in your life? But do you have a Judas or Demas, or a Saul or Absalom? Don’t mind the name. The evils that they perpetrate come from the same source. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. Our warfare is against principalities and powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. That is why the Bible says we should put on the whole armour of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
When we let go of our memory of the word, when we engage in other things that divert our attention from the word, when we do this consistently for a while, we tend to drift away from the truths that we knew or used to know and find ourselves forgetting, neglecting and turning away from the things that made us.
Talk is cheap. This year, we must be bold to follow our words with positive action that will yield desired results, constantly pushing forward on all fronts, without relenting. There is a lot in stock.
Many emotions run through the survivors’ minds in the early days of a new year. The most common is the excitement and joy of crossing over. The exuberant cries of ‘Happy New Year’ everywhere you go, whether they are known persons or strangers. The joy is worth sharing with everyone who would care to listen. I made it! We made it!
Christmas is over and we begin the countdown to the end of the year. Can you believe it’s only a matter of days before this year is over?
So, joy to the world, the Lord is come! We rejoice always, regardless of our situation or circumstances. We rejoice because the Lord has come to give us salvation, healing, deliverance, a reason to live. We rejoice because weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
So, here I am, at the same point again, looking forward to another new year of better things! How great is our God and how wonderful are His works!!! Like the Bible says, from the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same, the name of the Lord shall be praised.
