Peace On Earth!

What a beautiful gift! The gift of peace. And this peace is not like the peace the world offers, which is shortlived at best, and unreliable. This is real peace. The kind that keeps you calm and settled even when facing the worst dilemma. Solid peace. When the Prince of Peace brings you peace, you can relax and enjoy that peace, knowing that He has you covered.

Advent!

Can I say that regardless of how this year turned out, we can still rejoice? Yes, we can. Because it’s not over until it’s over. Even in the dying days of this year, God can still show up for us. Even till the very last moment of the year. It is doubly reassuring that God is not limited by time, such that, even in the New Year, He can still do everything that we waited for in 2019 and did not receive. With Him, nothing is too difficult. With Him, all things are possible. All things.

Happy New Year 2019!

Many emotions run through the survivors’ minds in the early days of a new year. The most common is the excitement and joy of crossing over. The exuberant cries of ‘Happy New Year’ everywhere you go, whether they are known persons or strangers. The joy is worth sharing with everyone who would care to listen. I made it! We made it!

‘Tis The Season To Be Jolly!

While enjoying the ‘jolly’ season, it would be wise not to throw all caution to the wind. Shopping can be crazy but remember to watch your spending. Merchants can be very enticing with their special offers at this time, both in the shops and on line stores. It’s good to have a list and follow it as strictly as possible. No spontaneous purchases! In fact, as much as possible, stay away from the shops once you finish your legal (list-based) shopping. That way, you can at least try to resist some temptations.

Joy To The World!

So, joy to the world, the Lord is come! We rejoice always, regardless of our situation or circumstances. We rejoice because the Lord has come to give us salvation, healing, deliverance, a reason to live. We rejoice because weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
